In some cases, you may experience issues getting your dongle driver working, depending on your computer’s configuration. If you are having dongle/driver issues, please try the following steps:
- Ensure your dongle is plugged directly into your computer, not into a USB hub or extender
- Restart your computer with the dongle plugged in
- Refer to the Getting Started section on the PTS Help page, which is accessed from the menu bar or the PTS Start page
- Be sure that you are checking the box “Delete the driver software for this device”

- Use the dongle on another computer to help determine whether the dongle is defective or not
- Properly installed drivers will display in the Device Manager as shown in the image below
