Introduction
As your company’s key contacts, you are the link between your organization and the Bluetooth SIG.
The Primary Contact
As the Primary Contact, you will manage all information associated with your company’s membership account, including your Company profile page.
The Primary Contact can:
- Request and approve a new Primary Contact
- Set and request the member Secondary and Tertiary contacts
- Deactivate user accounts
- View and edit the “Key Contacts” for your company
- Edit company D-U-N-S number
- Edit Business Phone
- Edit website
- Edit company address
The Primary Contact should submit a Support Request for:
- Changing the Company's Name or Doing Business As / Trading As
- Approve reactivating user accounts
- Requesting information related to Membership Agreements
- Adding an Email Domain
- Requesting to establish an affiliate link between membership accounts in our database
- Requesting a withdrawal of your company’s membership account
- Visibility to all groups your company has joined, and which users belong to the individual groups
The Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Contacts will receive the following email communications:
- Membership application approval
- Onboarding emails to help you get started
- Renewal reminders if you are at a paid membership level
- Payment confirmation for Associate or Contributing Adopter membership upgrade or renewal fees
- Annual database clean-up emails so you can confirm/update account information
- Payment with missing invoice numbers
- Requests from colleagues for account approvals, such as
- Adding email domain(s) to the account
- Updating company info
- Qualified Product Transfers
- Bluetooth enforcement program notifications
Key Member Company Contacts:
- Invoice Contact: Receives communications about payments for membership upgrades or renewals.
- Payment Contact: Receives communications about payments for membership upgrades or renewals.
- Qualification Contact: Receives communications about your Bluetooth Qualification Program and your company's qualifications.
- Marketing Contact: A product-marketing contact to represent your Bluetooth products and collaborate with the Bluetooth SIG on market development, demos, speaking, and campaigns.
- Security Contact: Receives communications about any Bluetooth security issues.
- Legal Contact: Receives communications about any Bluetooth legal issues.
