The Bluetooth SIG Member Awards Program recognizes outstanding contributions to IOP testing each year. Two categories highlight exceptional testing efforts: the Outstanding IOP Contributor Award and Recognition of IOP Participation.
Who this applies to: All Bluetooth SIG members who participate in IOP testing. You do not need to apply or nominate yourself — eligibility is determined automatically based on the test results you submit in the IOP Results Entry Tool during the award period.
Overview
The Bluetooth SIG Member Awards Program annually recognizes outstanding contributions from members, including those who participate in interoperability (IOP) testing. Two IOP-related categories are awarded each year, covering a one-year award period from July to July.
Both categories are based on specifications that complete IOP testing during the award period. One award recognizes the top contributing company per Working Group, while the other recognizes every member who contributed results.

How the winner is determined

How to ensure your contributions count
Eligibility is determined automatically from the test results recorded in the IOP Results Entry Tool. To make sure your work is captured:
- Register your platform in the IOP Results Entry Tool and indicate attendance for each event. See How to Register and Manage Platforms.
- Log all your test results promptly during each event. Results must be submitted (not just entered) to be counted. See How to Log IOP Test Results.
- Participate in both informal and formal IOP events when possible. Results from informal events may be carried forward to formal milestones if authorized, and all results that contribute to a specification completing IOP count toward the award.
