When completing the ICS Selection in the Qualification Process with Required Testing, the Consistency Check will verify and report whether or not the ICS selections are compliant according to the status conditionals. Any reported invalids must be resolved to generate a Test Plan and complete qualification accurately.
Members should not fix the selected items solely to remove inconsistency checks or test cases and submit the project. Doing so will result in an invalid Qualification. The ICS selections should accurately match the features the design/product supports, even if consistency check errors or incorrect test cases are generated. Invalids may be disputed if the member believes the ICS document or Launch Studio is erroneous. Reporting such errors is done by submitting a Test Specification Erratum (TSE).
Once a member has filed or located a relevant TSE that corresponds to the invalids in their project, the member can then submit their project with the consistency check error(s) noting any relevant TSE(s) on the test plan and in the Notes section under the Review & Submit tab in Launch Studio. The qualification will then be manually reviewed by a Bluetooth® Qualification Administrator (BQA) for approval.
If BQA approval of the qualification is urgent, please submit a support request to help expedite the request.
