If a member company wishes to engage a Bluetooth Qualification Consultant to provide qualification-related services, the member company will need to engage the consultant directly.
The functionality to assign projects directly to another user (including a Bluetooth Qualification Consultant) is not available in Bluetooth Launch Studio, the new tool that replaces Test Plan Generator (TPG). To create projects for the member company in Launch Studio, the consultant will need to create a user account under the member company’s account, which the consultant can use to access Launch Studio and create projects under the member company’s account.
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Member Company engages Consultant John Doe (e.g. a Bluetooth Qualification Consultant) directly.
- Member Company provides an email address to John Doe that uses the same email address domain as the Member Company’s Bluetooth SIG membership registration (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org).
- John Doe uses the email@example.com email address to apply for a Bluetooth SIG user account as a Member Company user. (Note that if the Member Company does not provide John Doe with access to the email account associated with the firstname.lastname@example.org email address, then John Doe may require further assistance from the Member Company to complete the user account registration process because a validation email will be sent to that email address and confirmation that the email address is valid must occur to complete the user account registration.)
- Once John Doe has obtained a user account with the email@example.com email address, John Doe can utilize the firstname.lastname@example.org email to log in to access Launch Studio and to create and submit projects on behalf of the Member Company.
Bluetooth Qualification Consultants are not employed by or representatives of Bluetooth SIG. Each member that engages a Bluetooth Qualification Consultant is responsible for establishing the terms of its relationship with the Bluetooth Qualification Consultant, including with respect to payment and scope of services.
