The Bluetooth Qualification Process will be updated and streamlined on 1 July 2024. When the new process goes into effect, draft projects in Launch Studio will no longer be valid under Qualification Program Reference Document (QPRD) v3 and will be deleted.

Steps You Can Take to Address Your Draft Projects Before QPRDv3 Takes Effect

If you’re ready to complete the Qualification Process with your current drafts:

1. Log into Launch Studio
2. Click the Draft Projects tab in the top navigation bar
3. Click the Project Name
4. Complete the Bluetooth Qualification Process as outlined in PRD 2.3

If you do not anticipate completing the Qualification Process with your current drafts before the new QPRD takes effect this summer:

1. Log into Launch Studio
2. Click the Draft Projects tab in the top navigation bar - Select your Draft Project
3. Document and save any referenced QDIDs and product details used in the project
4. If your project is using the “Qualification Process with Required Testing” path in Launch Studio, export the ICS form by clicking the “Project Actions” button and selecting “Export ICS”
5. Store all information in your own records
6. Delete any Draft Projects you no longer need

If you have drafts you no longer need:

1. Log into Launch Studio
2. Click the Draft Projects tab in the top navigation bar
3. Click Projects Actions on the right side
4. Click Delete Project
5. Click Delete Project on the pop-up window to confirm the deletion

If you do nothing:

• You will continue to receive these reminder emails until the new QPRD goes into effect
• Your drafts will be deleted when the new QPRD becomes effective later this year

Any project started but not completed before the new QPRD becomes effective will be deleted. Deleting drafts when QPRDv3 goes into effect removes the risk of accidentally working on an old project that would be invalid (this administrative cleanup reduces risk and helps the Bluetooth SIG protect interoperability).
