As a manufacturer/vendor of Bluetooth® designs, it is essential that your customers are aware of the need to qualify their products with the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). By updating your sales and promotional materials with information that will help your customers during the qualification process, you can help them avoid Bluetooth SIG enforcement-related situations and shipping delays in customs.
Your customers should know that they need to:
- Qualify their products with the Bluetooth SIG, even if they are not making changes to the module
- Provide the Qualified Design Identification(s) (QDID) for the module they are purchasing when they qualify
- Ensure their products comply with all Bluetooth SIG branding requirements

Bluetooth Qualification
All products incorporating Bluetooth technology must go through the Bluetooth SIG's Qualification Process. You can learn about the process here. To properly qualify your product, you will need the following Qualified Design ID(s) (QDID) to enter into the Bluetooth SIG's Qualification tool, Launch Studio:
